Brytech RPM
The BRYTECH RPM is a wireless patient monitoring system for ambulatory patients. A compact, robust unit is worn by the patient and transmits vital sign data across a secure network for realtime display, alarm generation and archiving.
At BRYTECH I researched methods of processing and displaying medical data while conforming to medical standards. I designed user interface and product feature set in consultation with medical staff and Human Oriented Technology experts. I then designed the software architecture for both the client and server components of the RPM system. I implemented most of the client and server components and wrote technical documents required for product certification. Brytech follows ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 procedures with some agile development practices.
