The Web Engines team was involved in almost all Corel products, providing web technology in the form of a set of cross platform libraries.
Web Engines Team Vision and Plan:
As a lead developer working with web technology at Corel, I created a vision and plan for what later become the formal web engines team. The idea was to have technical knowledge and components that could put Corel at the forefront of Web technology.
Components
The basic component hierarchy of web engines was designed so that clients would include only what was needed into their applications. The basic components formed a parsing layer, rendering layer, viewing layer, and editing layer.
